VA 5 General

A: You can use the VAOS 6 releases of inet32.exe/intdlg32.dll (you have to use both or none!) with VA 5. You can get the latest builds from Sourceforge. We may also provide a package with only these two files for VA5 use in our download section here in the wiki.

A: Yes, you can easily do this. Please read the respective FAQ in General VAOS6 FAQs.

A: VA 5 and 6 both contain a component "COMWIZ.exe" responsible for setting up communications parameters for CIX.
"Spyware Doctor" misidentifies this component as being "high risk", and added "Backdoor.IRC.Comiz is a backdoor Trojan Horse that gives it's creator full control over your computer." This is wrong. Obviously this program just looks for file names and if one matches it triggers a warning. So, this program is not very clever. Other, similar programs, may misidentify it as well.
