General Site FAQs

A: This is a bug in IE. It moves the DIV with the bar a little bit up and right.

A: There are two ways:
- FAQ, go to one of the Available FAQs, Add Suggestion
- this adds a suggested Q+A pair and can be approved later
- if you belong to a group which can approve:
- go back to Available FAQs and click the "?" at the end of the line for that FAQ section.
- there's "Suggested questions" at the bottom of the page, here you can approve
OR (faster, but only with approve rights):
- FAQ, go to one of the Available FAQs
- click the "?" at the end of the line for an FAQ section.
- use "Edit FAQ questions" at the top of the page

It's possible that some options are not available for you. If so and you want them, please tell in vaos.beta.discussion what's missing and which user group you belong to (most users are "Registered").

A: - FAQ, Create New FAQ
(don't forget to categorize or it will not appear in the Categories section!)

I assume you need to be at least an editor to add a new section, let's see.

- Articles +, Edit article
- Articles +, List articles, Edit new article

Don't forget to choose topic, type and category. The chosen category will make it appear in the Categories section. (This is relevant for almost all kinds of documents, if you don't categorize it, it won't appear in that "sitemap".)

A: On "List FAQs" or "Edit this FAQ", if you go do down to the table of available FAQ sections there's a question mark symbol in the right-most column (action) with a label of "questions". Click that symbol and the opened page will have a table of all FAQs in that section at the bottom of that page. That table will carry the necessary symbols/links for deletion and editing of single FAQ questions. "Edit FAQs" will only edit the "FAQ" (that is the FAQ section naming) and not individual questions.
